London Development Agency
2010
A 120 meter stretch of plywood hoarding near Wembley Stadium has been selected to promote ongoing work carried out by the London Development Agency to enhance the public realm across London. We have been commissioned to develop a graphic concept that both engages the local community and visually translates the LDA’s aim of sustainable architectural development within Greater London. The proximity to Wembley Stadium inspired the concept of creating an oversized wall themed on sports. It is composed of three sections: Information on the recently finished nearby ‘White Horse’ pedestrian bridge, a promenade consisting of illuminated ball shaped acrylic domes, and a ‘goal shooting wall’ giving incentives to children to use it as a play area.
