As part of the team of East Architecture we developed the colour scheme and environmental narrative for a parade of shops on Walthamstow High Street. We commisioned artist Richard Sweeney to devise a series of iconic sculptures that identify the trade of the shop in a playful and humorous way without shouting out its brand. The icons found other applications on flank walls and wayfinding devices.
The typography is kept simple, replicating what has been there before with some typographic tweaks.
