As part of the Architect’s Journal Urban Design Scholarship Alicia Pivaro spend one year at Design for London, researching possibilities to enhance the area around Albert Dock Basin in East London. To show the research results we conceived an exhibition wall that was to use bright colour and informal typography in response to the currently derelict state of Albert Dock. We decided to transfer Alicia’s cut-out snippets straight to the exhibition wall, achieving a personal and playful platform that reflected the numerous ideas that resulted from her research.
