City of Karlsruhe, Germany
2005
An academic guide to public sculpture in the city of Karlsruhe in Germany, written by one of the region’s most knowledgeable experts, art historian Claudia Pohl.
In close collaboration with the author accessible plans were drawn, mapping the precise position of each sculpture within Karlsruhe’s public realm. The guide describes ten trails, each in a different area of the town. The majority of the 180 featured sculptures are represented with one image. In addition, some are featured with a large colour image and description at the end of each chapter.
