Architecture Foundation
2014

The Architecture Foundation ran a series of workshops for a group of nine young students from local schools, exploring the dramatically changing streetscape around Elephant & Castle. As ‘resident’ designers we conducted a one day workshop experimenting with pre-digital photography to uncover and interpret the agglomerate of different communities, services and architecture that constitute Elephant & Castle today. Cameras provided included SLRs, Lomos, Polaroids, pinhole and disposable cameras, which the group were asked to use in order to uncover one specific aspect of the area.
