Hampton Court Welcome Centre

Hampton Court Palace
2011

To present fragments of 500 years of history of Hampton Court Palace, as well as introducing the work of the conservation team and give an overview of the palace was the brief to design the interpretation at the Welcome Centre at Hampton Court Palace. To reflect the diversity of the palace’s Tudor, Baroque and Victorian occupants, the graphic panels have been realised in different methods of reproduction, each reminiscent of a particular epoch. The display consists of a careful arrangement of a multiplicity of graphic panels, ranging from signwritten, over early tin-type photography to digital printing, mounted to a cast iron frame.
