Bromley by Bow Centre

In a series of workshops artist Romeo Gongora explored the dreams by the community about the future of Bromley by Bow, London. Members of the community were asked to draw, sculpt, map and write about the future they imagine for their local community. In a literal translation we turned their drawings into small scale physical objects and placed them on the local streets, to ask the wider community about their own proposals for the neighbourhood.
